Requirements for Parents in a Volunteer, Parent-Driven, Soccer Club 

    • Support & nurture your child’s soccer experience
    • Be a role model - act with respect at all times
    • Understand & embrace the USA mission statement
    • Understand & abide by the USA code of conduct
    • Understand & follow by the USA volunteer policy
    • Be involved in your child’s team and USA experience
    • Support your child’s team, coaching staff & club
    • Communicate with your coach and with the club
    • Have fun with it!

Requirements for Coaches

Not everyone is suited for coaching. We know that. But as a family-friendly low-cost soccer organization we rely on good parents and volunteer athletes to make-up our coaching staff. If you have a strong interest in becoming a coach, please contact one of our administrators and understand what is required. 

Be Registered

In order to be a coach or assistant coach for USA you must be registered within GVSA.  Follow the COACHES REGISTRATION link to find out about this process.

Complete the Risk Management Program 

In order to be a coach or assistant coach for USA you must successfully complete the MSYSA Risk Management Process. Follow the RISK MANAGEMENT PROCESS link to find out about this process.

Be Licensed

In order to be a head coach for USA you must successfully complete the USSF Licensing Course within your first year of coaching.  Follow the COACH LICENSING PROCESS link to find out about this process.

Always Continue to Grow

As coaches we are never done growing. Therefore it is important for us to share and add more information as we learn it. USA offers several opportunities to develop further as a coach. Stay tuned and feel free to ask.
